Video Overload

Penny has become quite the mobile, opinionated little girl.  Because of this, she is quite difficult to catch on camera, a still camera that is.  We have discovered that the only way to capture her is via camcorder, so here are the latest videos of our little tushy love...

2011 Christmas and New Year's catch-up

I am such a slacker!!  I can't believe I haven't posted anything since November 30!  Well, not a lot has happened since then so I don't feel too bad, I guess.  Penny is just growing and getting smarter and more funny by the day.  She has become a pro walker and she is just talking away.  She doesn't actually say real words yet, but she sure does have a lot to say.  I will try to catch you up on what's happened the last couple of months through a series of photos.  And I promise I will try to be better about keeping up with my posts (I know I say that every post, but this time I mean it...probably).

Look at how cute she is!!!  I just love this girl so much.

A couple of weeks after her real brithday we had a second brithday party at my parent's house.  We also celebrated Parker's birthday and we blessed little baby Gracie that day too.  It was a lot fun to be around so much family.  My cousin, Shanon, bakes cakes and agreed to bake Penny a birthday cake.  I could not have asked for a more cute, more amazing cake.  Just take a look, this cake was absolutely incredible...

Sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas we went to see the lights at Temple Square with Brad's family.  To avoid a parking nightmare we rode the tracs in.  It was Penny's first time, she was so cute all bundled up in her coat.  She looks so grown-up in this picture...

She wanted to hold onto the handle bars on the train just like everybody else...

Here are the few pictures I took of our night.  I think I was too cold to take pictures, plus there were like a bazillion people there...

Below are the only pictures I took of Christmas, in fact, this isn't even Christmas, it's Christmas Eve...I was too busy enjoying the day, I forgot to take more.  Christmas was wonderful!  Penny really got the hang of opening presents by the end of the day.  I'm really looking forward to next year, she'll be talking and she'll understand what's going on a little better...

The day before New Year's my family went to the Grand America Hotel because they had a little scavenger hunt set up around the hotel.  It was really cute, you had to help this little penguin find a christmas star.  When you completed the hunt they gave you a little star shaped cookie  (which got me sick the next day...Happy New Year!).  Penny had a blast, since she was walking, she absolutely loved running down the halls...

The rest of the day we went shopping as Milams do.  We went to a Carter's store and there were some other little kids playing at the toy table.  Penny was not shy at all and she just went right up to them and started playing.  She is not going to have a problem with nursery at all...

Butt crack baby (she's get it from Talyor)...

Twinners...

The next day while I was sick (from that stupid Grand America Cookie) my mom and Emily were kind enough to take care of Penny for me.  Penny loved it, she loves her Meema and Aunt Emmy...

After New Year's we retunred to Logan.  A couple days later it finally snowed.  I had been waiting for what seemed like forever because I was so anxious to get Penny in her snow clothes to see how she liked it.  She was the most adorable snow baby!!!  She had a hard time walking in it, but other than that she really enjoyed it...

We went inside and she tried on Aunt Emmy's boots.  She really tired to walk around in these...she makes me laugh to hard...

Well, that pretty much sums up our Christmas and New Year's.  It was a good year and a good Holiday Season.  I love having a little family to share it with!!
